BEST Robotics (boosting engineering, science, & technology) is a national non-profit organization with the mission to inspire students to pursue careers in engineering, science, and technology through participation in a sports-like science and engineering-based robotics competition.
Teams are provided with identical kits of parts and software to take back to their school on Kick-Off Day. The teams then have six weeks to design, build, and test a robot. After six weeks, the teams return with their robot to compete.
This competition includes the Robot Competition, Project Engineering Notebook, Marketing Presentation, Exhibit & Interview, and Spirit & Sportsmanship.
The game theme and competition field change every year.
