This course is a broad program focused on agricultural science and includes the study of food safety and agronomy topics as pertains to the science and technology of producing and using plants for food, fuel, and fiber. Students will learn the application of a combination of sciences like biology, chemistry, economics, ecology, earth science, and genetics, and will study issues including producing food, food safety, creating healthier food, managing the environmental impact of agriculture, soil and water conservation, and extracting energy from plants
